The Twin Rivers Police Officers Association is a professional employee organization that represents professional Police Officers and Public Safety Dispatchers in labor negotiations, wages and benfits, working conditions, legal issues and other matters.
Our Police Officers have the same authority granted by the California State Constitution and Penal Code as the Sacramento Police Department, Sacramento County Sheriffs Department and California Highway Patrol.
The Association was established in the Fall of 2005 and is governed by an elected Board of Directors comprised of at least 5 Executive Officers vested with the authority to conduct Association business and affairs.
In July of 2008, the Grant Police Officers Association became the Twin Rivers Police Officers Association.
We encourage activities to improve the morale and welfare of our members, promote professionalism and advancement within the law enforcement profession and promote charitable and benevolent purposes.
All of our activities are authorized under our Articles of Incorporation or By Laws and under the California Corporations Code and Non Profit Mutual Benefit Law, the California Government Code, IRS Code § 501(c)(5).
