
The Twin Rivers Police Officers Association negotiates as the official representative for wages, benefits and working conditions including the following:
Negotiates wages, benefits and working conditions with the Twin Rivers Unified School District and Twin Rivers Police Department management;
Responds to MOU violations by investigating, researching and filing grievances;
Conducts "Meet and Confer" meetings with the Twin Rivers Unified School District and Twin Rivers Police Department management;
Conducts research for use in negotiations and labor or management discussions; and
Provides the current MOU to members.
The Twin Rivers Police Officers Association advocates the rights of our members by providing work related legal defense and representation including the following:
Provides active legal representation by experienced police attorneys or Board representatives for work related administrative matters;
Provides experienced police attorney representation for allegations of work related criminal conduct;
Responds to all major critical incidents to facilitate legal representation and support for all involved members; and
Provides active Board representation when called as a witness.
The Twin Rivers Police Officers Association provides fraternal services and support to members and their families including the following:
The Association also offers its members discounts on many services and products such as car rentals, movie and theme park tickets, attractions, sporting events and concerts. Contact the Board of Directors for access to these members only benefits.
The Twin Rivers Police Officers Association takes an active interest in local and state legislative elections. The Association supports candidates and ballot measures that support law enforcement and share a similar philosophy and oppose those against us. Our decisions are based upon a thorough research and interview process.
We support candidates and ballot measures that support and would be of benefit to us. After identifying ideal candidates, we provide endorsement and support to candidates, campaigns or issues.
A good working, professional relationship and candid dialogue with candidates and officials is important. We make our position known and that we will be heard. All of this is crucial to achieve our goals.

The Twin Rivers Police Officers Association seeks to promote a positive image of law enforcement through various public venues including the following:
Attend numerous civic, political, law enforcement and labor organization events to advance member interests;
Conduct political activity at local, regional, state and national levels to defend existing rights and pursue new or enhanced rights and benefits;
Network with individuals and organizations to bring recognition and honor to the profession; and
Host a website for members and public relations.
